i have been wondering what to update my lj with. i found this picture in my camera.

sometime last week (or the week before, i can’t remember) i was driving to work, and the 605 N was backed up from Rosecrans to Telegraph! yowzers, right? i just hope that everyone came out of it okay. the picture is sorta blurry- which made me wish i had my camera set to bursts instead of normal mode.

The next picture comes with a story. On December 16, at 6:20 am i woke up. i dont know why. but upon waking up, i hear “MOTHERF——!” pop! pop! pop! With Puddles next to my bed, i laid there thinking, “no… i couldnt have been. not here…” i had thought it was a drive by shooting, but i was wrong. besides, i didnt hear any glass shattering. But, i was correct that someone had fired a gun. I didnt want to look out my window… yet. my room is the front room that outlooks the street, and i was scared if someone saw me, they’d shoot me in the face. my parents had gone out of their room. Talking amongst themselves, they walked towards the door. at this point, i had slinked out of my bed was crouching in my doorway. i said to my dad who had his hand on the front door knob, “GET AWAY FROM THERE! THOSE WERE GUN SHOTS!!!” yeesh… For the next 5 hours, our house, my lolas and her neighbor’s house was taped up. Police kept knocking on our door, checking the backyard… police cars sourrounded our houses, and helicopters were flying.

the green honda is the car is question. I always joked around about how ghetto norwalk is. i never thought it actually was. but, i think about high school… people i knew lived across the street from a crack/whore house, people burning other peoples houses, racial fights, gun shots at the park across from my friend’s house, etc. around 1:30 am new years eve/new years, i heard dogs barking like crazy, and they wouldn’t stop! i listenered more carefully and heard people shouting. F-bombs here and there, women screaming, men yelling… it was coming from our neighbors house. no police this time, but it sure was hectic…
